In case you missed it, here's an amusing turn of events. An expose on spyware - read the article online and LOOK OUT. But this is my first introduction to the "drunken hamster", which is my real reason for passing this on (see the bottom of the page)...

I should probably care more about cookie tracking
I should care more about cookie tracking. At least I don't use Windows for most of my surfing, so I'm not inundated with prompts to actually install spyware into IE. In case you're wondering, I recommend LavaSoft's Ad-Aware and Grisoft's AVG for all PC users.
How about Spybot: Search & Destroy?
Got any comments? I've used both it and Ad-Aware... both seem adequate, but maybe I'm missing something. :)
Never used it
Ad-aware was the program that I was first pointed towards, and I've never needed anything else. If Spybot works as well, great.
