Setting up an e-smith server for home use
I've been running my own e-smith server for about 2 years now. I recently did a complete re-install from scratch to move to the new 6.x series as well as to upgrade the hardware.
This documents the setup process, as well as the installation of some additional RPMs and useful web apps.

hello,i have ben running sme server for a while now ---e-smith 6.0 well my ? is i was using a wired router then switched to wireless it wont work like i want to acsess my ftp through the internet it keeps saying i dont have permission well if i go back to my wired router then i dont have that problem.can you help please

Is this from an external connection? or are you internal through your wireless.
SME allows internal ftp connections through 192.168.0.1 and blocks connections via the external ip unless you specify a hole. Do you have that setup?
