Blog bundle

I've said it once, and I'm going to say it again: Drupal is fantastic.

May I direct your attention to the right, to the box entitled "Interesting Blogs": that is a bundle of RSS feeds, grouped by the term "blog". Right now, the items are a little scrambled, because I manually updated them, and updated Dave's SmithDM3 blog last, so all his items appear first. As the RSS feeds get refreshed, the items will be from all over the place. Visit the bundles section of newsfeeds to see the ones I've defined.

Again, if anyone has feeds to suggest, just leave a comment on this item.

Baah!

Thanks for the link, Dave.

I really, really, would like something small and simple, preferably NOT graphical -- like conditions plus temperature, kind of like what I had built myself.

I still think a blog-feed version would be extra cool. I haven't really looked around for it, but will do at some point. Isn't weather "free"?!?

Okay... I'll keep trying... How about XML?

This guy seems to be having some trouble with his service, but maybe you can use it... :)

Intercept Vector Weather

That's a good one

I had seen some references to this, but hadn't checked it out yet. It spits out XML, which is great. If only it were RSS....I might actually get the gumption to turn it into an RSS feed. That will have to wait, as it looks like a longer project.

Stay tuned...

However...

something in this broke the page for IE6, the rh column now displays at the bottom underneath the stories.

Stupid weather block

Yup, the weather block. Bane of my existence. Should I go back to getting sued by Environment Canada? I think, with the weather actually getting warmer, I shall ditch the weather block...

Already missing your weather block ...

I liked the convenience of finding out about the weather in Ottawa on your site since I never went through the trouble of watching the weather channel or logging on to Environment Canada to find the weather. You are right, though, with the weather getting warmer, the shock value is not there any more for us out here in the west.

WeatherNetwork

Boris... could try the WeatherNetwork's Weather Button.
